On the program: exhibitions, workshops, walks, discussions, your projects for the festival and much more! Join us from September 27 to 29, 2024, in the Marais Wiels district to dive into the world of “biodiversity and natural sciences”. 

Continue the CurieuCity adventure with us, exploring emblematic, well-known and lesser-known places in the district from a scientific and creative point of view: At Marais Wiels, marvel at the diversity of nature by discovering the secrets of the local fauna and flora, and testing the quality of the water while observing micro-organisms.

Are you fascinated by the mysteries of mushrooms? Ten Weyngaert  opens the doors to the magical world of fungi, where you’ll learn all about their vital ecological role and the new light they can shed on our society. At P.A.R.T.S , we’re interested in communication and collaboration between species. What can we learn from the language of whales, and what forms of cooperation can we observe in Anne Marie Maes living works of art? If you’re intrigued by the invisible, we invite you to discover the surprising world of rotifers (microorganisms) at l’Imprimerie  or take a tour ofLa Marelle‘s microzoo.

Workshops and games for young and old are on offer at Divercity ,  and La Marelle, as well as the Land Connection Practices participatory art project in Parc Duden.

Most of the festival’s activities are accessible to all. Where this is not the case, it is specified. Similarly, activities are suitable for all ages, unless otherwise stated, with an indication of the age group concerned.
